A video update
We are finally in the process of finalizing our first album. We’re putting some finishing touches and hope to issue the album in the coming weeks, but we’re learning these things take a lot longer than you expect. In the meantime, here’s a video of me playing an excerpt… you can note my two finger (per hand) technique!
Finally more music
It’s been a while since we started recording — we’ve been held up in an effort to update our recording studio — see my previous post describing our studio equipment — and we now have monitor speakers which are a pair of Rokit 5s picked up from Guitar Center. Here’s our next sample — a selection from Clementi’s Opus 36, No. 1 (one of my favorites). Let me know what you think of the quality of the audio…
Our first sample
Please click on the play button on the music player below to listen to an excerpt of our first piano recording. With me playing, this was recorded by my dad on a Yamaha upright, connected to a Mac using a QRS music system, and a Focusrite audio interface. He then used Logic Express 9 on a Mac to mix the audio (he told me to say all that). This is a selection from Clementi’s Opus 36, No. 3.
Hope you enjoy and as always, please let us know if you have any comments.
